TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you deposit.
